What are the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?
The SDGs are a collection of global goals set by the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit in September 2015 for the period from 2016 to 2030.
The SDGs consist of 17 goals toward a sustainable world that should be pursued globally by both developing and developed countries. Japan is also expected to actively work toward the goals in both public and private sectors.
In keeping with its commitment to the SDGs, Toshiba Group is endeavoring to contribute to the solution of social issues while spurring further technological development and innovation.
